Please give us a call, and we will do our best to mobilize a utility crew and equipment to your property within the day, and if we just can’t make it happen – we’ll let you know that too. We understand your need, and are willing to work nights, holidays and weekends to make sure you’re back in service.

What to expect when you hire Nixcavating to repair or replace your utility break.

• Once the work is agreed upon, and after all service utility locates are completed, Nixcavating will arrive to your home within a predetermined time frame.
• For emergency work, we will have to wait until there is a crew on-site before we’re able to call for emergency locates. Unfortunately, no work can take place until all relevant utilities have been marked or cleared.
• After the utility locates are complete, our utility crew will immediately get to work exposing the pipes, so we’re able to see what the real issues are. Often, until we get a view underground, all we can do is speculate on how to fix the problem.
• After we have exposed the problem and are able to repair the issue, we’ll do our best to clean up and replace all landscaping as detailed on the estimate.
• Please keep in mind our priority is to fix your line as efficiently as possible, so if you have any concerns about your sidewalk or landscape – please address them at the time of your estimate.

• Septic Systems have an average life of 30 years
• Do NOT put anything except bath tissue into your system
• Do NOT use caustic drain cleaners for a clogged drain, rather try boiling water or a pipe snake
• Do NOT allow vehicle or livestock traffic on your septic system
• Do NOT plant anything over or near the drain except grass – larger plant roots can damage or clog lines
